What is an AI SEO agent, and why test it on our own site?

An AI SEO agent is software that does the daily work of search marketing for you. It finds the questions your buyers type into Google and AI assistants, writes posts that answer them, publishes on a schedule, links each post to the right service page and keeps the technical basics in order. It does the same tasks a content marketer does, but it runs every day without needing reminders.

We wanted proof we could show without asking a client for permission, so we ran our own AI SEO Agent on claraai.tech first. Every number in this post comes from our own Google Analytics 4 property. We compare two equal 16-day windows: 24 Sep to 9 Oct 2026, before the agent, and 10 to 25 Oct 2026, after it started.

What did the AI SEO agent do, day by day?

  1. Picked buyer topics. It chose keywords with buying intent, such as AI calling agents, WhatsApp chatbots and LinkedIn outreach, and grouped them into clusters tied to our service pages.
  2. Wrote one post a day. Each post answers the question in its first lines, uses question-style headings, adds a table or steps where useful and ends with FAQs.
  3. Used only approved facts. Every claim comes from a checked facts sheet, so nothing made up gets published.
  4. Linked to money pages. Each post links to the matching service page, so readers who are ready to buy have a next step.
  5. Handled the technical side. It compressed images, wrote alt text, updated the sitemap and asked Google to index new posts.
  6. Reported every week. It checked sessions, blog views, clicks and impressions, and adjusted the next topics.

How much did organic traffic grow?

The channel chart at the top of this post shows sessions by channel over time. The solid lines are 10 to 25 Oct 2026; the dotted lines are the 16 days before. Organic search, the traffic that comes from people searching, is the line that moved most.

Total sessions across all channels rose to 681 from 582 (+17%). Organic search grew faster than the site as a whole, which is what you would expect if the new content is what is bringing people in. Engaged sessions, visits where people actually stay and read, grew even faster at +37%, so the extra traffic is not just people bouncing straight off.

Did the blog itself get read?

Traffic only matters if people read the content. Before the agent started, the blog had almost no readers. In the 16 days after, blog page views went from 14 to 58 and active blog readers went from 3 to 40.

What should you not read into these numbers?

We would rather be honest than impressive. These are early results from a small, young site, so a few cautions apply:

  • The windows are short. Sixteen days is enough to see movement, not to prove a long-term trend. SEO compounds over months.
  • Some of the search traffic is people looking for our name. Brand searches grow when a company is more active, so not every extra session came from a new keyword.
  • Traffic is not revenue. The goal is booked calls with real buyers. That is why every post now carries a clear demo button and a short "who this is for" box.

Even with those cautions, the direction is clear: once content went out every day, more people found the site through search and stayed to read.

What would an AI SEO agent do for a B2B business like yours?

The same approach works for any B2B company whose buyers search before they buy: real estate developers, manufacturers, consultants, software firms and service businesses. If your buyers ask questions on Google or ChatGPT before they pick a supplier, an agent that answers those questions every day puts you in front of them. If you also sell through LinkedIn, our AI LinkedIn Outreach Agent works alongside it. For background, read what a custom AI agent is.

Questions buyers ask about this AI SEO agent case study

What did the AI SEO agent actually do on claraai.tech?

From 10 Oct 2026 it researched buyer keywords, wrote and published blog posts on a daily schedule, linked them to our service pages, kept the sitemap current and asked Google to index new posts.

Are these numbers from a client?

No. They are our own Google Analytics 4 figures for claraai.tech, so we can show the real screenshots without sharing any client data.

Is 16 days enough to judge an SEO agent?

It is enough to see early movement, not the full result. SEO compounds, so we judge rankings, leads and booked calls over three months or more.

Does an AI SEO agent also help with ChatGPT and AI search?

Yes. AI assistants tend to cite pages that already rank and answer questions clearly, so the same structured, question-led posts help with both Google and AI search.

Do I need to write or approve every post?

No. We agree topics, facts and tone with you once, then the agent runs daily. You can review posts whenever you like.
